Obituary of Kenneth Duane Berry

Please share a memory of Kenneth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Kenneth Duane Berry, 72, of Dowagiac, passed away at his home on Monday, November 4, 2019, while surrounded by his loving family.

Ken was born on November 5, 1946, to the late James and Neva (Frisbie) Berry in Newberry, Michigan.  After graduating from high school, Ken enlisted in the United States Army where he served for three years.  After he returned home from the Army Ken worked doing carpentry for a short period of time before he joined his brother in the antique business. Ken had truly found his calling when it came to antiquing.  He loved the hunt, the thrill of finding something good, and he loved watching the items he sold find good homes.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, James and Neva Berry; and siblings Janice Hall and James Berry.

He is survived by his son, Duane Allan of Columbia City, Indiana; siblings, Daniel Berry, Michael Berry, and Annette Heron all of Dowagiac and Yvonne Weston of Niles and many extended family members and close friends.

In keeping with Ken’s wishes he has been cremated and his family will be remembering him privately.
