Dear John, Cindy, Cheryl and Anthony Eddie and I knew that Karen was a loving and lively spirit. When i was a teenager, Karen lived with us for a short time. She inspired my self confidence and opened my eyes about the fun in life. She taught me how to dance and wear make up. Later she lived near me and Eddie, and I got to know her as a fun loving and charismatic person with a passion for animals. She will be dearly missed. Love, Val and Eddie Berendt

John, I am very sorry for your loss. Karen was a wonderful, loving, warm hearted person that would do anything for anyone if she could. Please know she is resting peacefully with God now and is finally free of pain and suffering. God is also with you. Look to him to give you peace in your heart.
