Obituary of Tricia Horn

Tricia Horn, 48, of Niles, passed away suddenly, of natural causes on Monday, August 26, 2019, at Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan.

She was born on March 23, 1971 in South Bend, Indiana to Earl and Glenda (Fairleigh) Greenman.

Tricia graduated from Niles High School, class of 1990. On June 29, 2013 Tricia married Bill Horn at a ceremony in Niles. She was currently a chef and enjoyed her work at Brentwood Assisted Living in Niles. Tricia loved spending time with her children and family, making crafts, going to the park or camping and fishing. Tricia also liked a good demolition derby or watching NASCAR and her son and brother racing quads. She also held a special place in her heart for her dogs, Jupiter and Meia.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and step-father, Jerry Parker and Bill’s sister, Kelly Blue.

Tricia is survived her husband, Bill Horn of Niles; children, Bret Greenman, Bailey Bussler, Dakotah Horn and Kniaki Horn, all of Niles; two grandchildren, Adam Gray and Warren Horn; her father, Earl (Barbara) Greenman of Niles; her mother, Glenda Parker of Dowagiac; grandfather, Eugene  Greenman of Dowagiac; William’s parents, Larry and Dorothy Horn; her siblings, Michael (Trish) Grant of Dowagiac, Jamie Greenman of Niles, Jason (Amy) Greenman of Niles, Melissa Grant of Niles and Melinda Grant of Dowagiac; her step-brothers, Eric Parker of Stevensville and Gus Parker of Dowagiac. She also leaves to cherish her memory aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless lives she has touched. 

A visitation to celebrate Tricia’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 3:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Niles.

Memorial contributions may be made in Tricia’s memory to Gift of Life Michigan, 3861 Research Park Drive, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48108. Tricia’s generous tissue and organ donation will assist many others in need.
