I'm so sorry to hear of the death of your loved one, Richard. I can only imagine the pain you are experiencing because it is never easy to lose someone you love. Something that has always brought me tremendous relief and comfort is God's promise of being able to see our deceased loved ones again. This promise is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Come out to where? God further promises to transform this earth into a beautiful paradise in which He will "swallow up death forever." (Isaiah 25:8; 2 Peter 3:13) What a wonderful time to look forward to! Until that time, may you continue to find great comfort in the "God of all comfort," Jehovah God, and in His future promises. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Again, my deepest condolences go out to your family during this most difficult time.
