Farewell Mr. Mysliwiec. I only knew you for a few short years when you coached the White Sox down at F.O.P. Little League, but I was blessed to be one of the thousands of kids you had a positive influence on. Thank you, and may God continue to bless your beautiful family now that you have returned home to Him.

Bob was my first glimpse outside of my own fathers as to what an extraordinary husband and father could mean to a family.
As a nanny to the kids and Jo’s right hand for a blessed (to me) number of years, I could not only see the leadership Bob humbly exuded, but man oh man the love between these two people was palpable.
I was privileged and honored to watch Bob and Jo exhibit grace and appreciation for one another through some pretty heavy couple moments as well as laugh our butts off together at some of the kids’ antics. We would marvel at the clever, heartwarming ideas and musings they would share with me while in my care - all the while Bob and Jo exchanging knowing glances as to which parent influenced a particular story.
Bob was an extraordinary man, they together were an extraordinary couple and he will be extraordinarily missed.

Bob and I knew each other professionally for over 40 years. At times we opposed each other, and at other times we worked together on the same side and in later years Bob practiced before me while I was on the bench. Through all those years, regardless of his role and mine, Bob was always, friendly, helpful, professional, well prepared and just done right likeable. Although we never socialized and our paths did not cross often, I will miss him. I feel the lose of his presence among us. I can’t even begin to imagine the enormity of the lose his passing represents to his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Bob has left behind a legacy of values of which all who cherish him can be very proud.

Our prayers and condolences are with the extended Mysliwiec family. Bob will be sorely missed. He was "one of the good guys." Bob had a great legal mind, which he put to excellent use in humble service to anyone in need. And that sense of humor! Priceless. No doubt that, after living life to the full (John 10:10), Bob has now seen the face of God. Well done Bob. RIP

Bob was a great teammate. I remember playing with him, during the summers, and against him in school, through out the 60's. I went to Catholic Central and he was a 'West Sider'...We competed on the grid iron and the diamond...he was a tough right-hander, with a great curveball. I can't remember too many games that I got hits off his 'slants'. Much later, when South Bend got minor league baseball, I ran into him at a game. He had a slew of kids in tow, so I didn't get to talk with him too much, but I recognized his voice from afar...teammates always remember...'Mush' will be missed...Luv ya kid!

All that is said in Bob's obituary is true and can be magnified many times over. I had the pleasure of working with and being a friend of Bob's for all the years he practiced law at Jones Obenchain. His door was always open if you wanted to chat or needed help. He was kind and was wonderful as a "boss." He loved and was proud of his family and expressed that to all. He was far more intelligent than most of us who worked with him, but he never made one feel inferior in any way. Bob truly lived his Catholic faith and the Gates of Heaven were opened wide for him to enter. I feel truly blessed for having Bob as a friend.

Bob was a wonderful boy, a wonderful man and a wonderful nephew. Over the years he and Jo hosted many Christmas parties for the families - and always a piñata for the kids. His great love for Jo was self evident. I remember once giving them a small plaque that seemed perfect: "THE MOST IMPORTANT GIFT A FATHER CAN GIVE HIS CHILDREN IS TO LOVE THEIR MOTHER", and Bob truly loved Jo.
He will be dearly missed ! Aunt Pat
