Obituary of Della Maude Sargee

Della M. Sargee, 93, of Cassopolis, passed away at her residence on Monday, December 16, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 12, 1920 to the late George H. and Olive (Wright) LaVallee in Green Township, Michigan. Della lived in various places across the U.S. She owned and operated a restaurant in Oklahoma for many years. Her and her husband also operated Deerburn Machine Movers. She also was employed for many years at Wolverine Worldwide Hushpuppies. Della enjoyed time traveling and loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Jeraldine Weston of Cassopolis, sister Donna LaVallee of Cassopolis, two grandsons, Jeff Zimmerman of Cassopolis and Larry Zimmerman (Trisha Flannigan) of Grand Rapids, a great-grandson Nicholas Zimmerman and great-granddaughter Crystal Flannigan. In keeping with Della's wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be remembered privately.
