So sorry to hear of Garry’s passing. My fondest memories of Garry were at Eastside school. He always had time to interact and joke around with some of us “younger” kids and always watched out for us, especially when he was on Safety Patrol. He always brought a smile to my face whenever I saw him.

Sandy, and all family of Garry. You have my sincere condolences on the passing of Garry. Garry was a lifelong friend of mine and someone who we both enjoyed calling each other "Big Dummy" which I think started out in 9th grade Drafting Class, but not quite sure. Anyway my parents about tanned my hide when they heard me call Garry that, but started laughing when they heard him call me that! :) Any losing Garry has left a big hole in my heart, losing him was like losing a brother, a brother I never had. He will be greatly missed. I will look forward to that one day when we will meet again and I will hear him yell over HEY YOU BIG DUMMY where ya been? Rest in peace my friend you certainly deserve it!
