Obituary of Kevin Wade Fletcher

Kevin Wade Fletcher, 51, of Union, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 6, 2019.

Kevin was born on October 27, 1967, to Ruth Lorraine (Kaufman) Fletcher in Dowagiac.  Kevin’s father, Charles Eugene Fletcher, passed away in Vietnam before he was born.  Being raised by a single mother of three boys made Kevin a hard worker.  He went to work at a young age and never stopped.  He was a mechanic by trade and had been employed at Heartland RV in Elkhart for many years up until his death. 

Working in the RV industry led Kevin to the love of his life, Rebecca (Rowe), whom he met at work.  The two were wed on August 11, 2012, in Baldwin, Michigan.  When Kevin and Rebecca married they blended their two families and became one family.  Family was very important to Kevin and he loved being home with his wife and children, working on projects around the house, watching NASCAR, or working in his yard.  Kevin was a wonderful husband and father.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and is survived by his wife of almost 7 years, Rebecca Fletcher; children, Kevin Fletcher of Edwardsburg, Rebecca Fletcher of Edwardsburg, Frances Pellow of Edwardsburg, and Dane Fletcher of Bristol; brothers, Scott and Chris Fletcher, both of Niles; and many extended family members and close friends.

In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, he has been cremated and his family will hold a private memorial service later this summer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kevin's wife, Rebecca Lynn Fletcher.
