He was always teaching me new things, and he was so kind. I loved him and held him very dear to my heart. He will always be remembered in my life and in many others.

Our sincere condolences to the Baker Family. We were so sad to hear of Reg's passing. He was a great person and always pleasant to be around. I always enjoyed playing golf with him in the National Standard league and was always fun at work.
I am very sorry that I could not attend the services to say a goodbye to my Friend but had to be out of town. God be with the Family. Reggie was very well liked by all. His humor and attitude were infectious. He will certainly be missed.

Pam, Tim , and Terry~
I am so sorry I won't be able to join you to remember your dad on Thursday; I am having total shoulder replacement surgery that morning and won't be getting around much.
I so loved growing up next door to your family, and have fond memories of your dad. For one, I remember when he told Pat he (Reg) would quit smoking if Pat would take better care of his blood sugar--hard for anyone, especially a teenager. Or how your Dad gently lifted Pat up off the back steps when Pat skidded down the cement on his back.
When I picture your dad outside the house in the old neighborhood, I get feelings of a very solid, strong presence, someone who loved his family and his community, and who always stood for what was right!
I have had a few chances to chat with your dad in the last couple of years, both on the phone and while visiting he and Linda at their home, and aside from a few telltale signs of aging, he is the same ole Reg I remember. I especially loved to hear him laugh. It was wonder to reconnect with him after all these years and reminisce!
I know the coming year, and all of the "first" milestones that happen after the loss of a parent, can be especially difficult: first Father's Day, First Birthday, First Christmas, and many more. You will start to pick up the phone to call him with some bit of news, or for a piece of advice, and realize he is no longer there. Cherish the memories you have of your dad and allow them to bring you comfort in the difficult times ahead.
