William "Bill" Robert Edinburgh, 84, of Niles, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, with his family by his side. 

Bill was born on August 11, 1934, to the late William and Catherine (Simmons) Edinburgh in Chicago, Illinois.  After graduating high school Bill went on to attend college and later settled in as a private merchandiser for many local retail stores; a job he thoroughly enjoyed. On August 26, 2007, Bill wed Ruth and the two combined their families. 

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, William "Billy" Edinburgh of Chicago, Anna Edinburgh of Chicago, John (Amanda) Wheaton of Paw Paw, Michigan, Lisa Phelps of Niles, and Roxann Phelps of Niles; several grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

In keeping with Bill's wishes, he has been cremated and will be interred on his mother's grave in Chicago.
