I haven't seen Mindy in a long time but at one point in my life she was a big part of it. She dated my brother for 6 years, we even lived together. She became like a big sister, gave me advice, took me shopping., let me borrow her clothes, let me and my friends drive her car when I was only 14 , argued with me, and would kick me off her computer cause she wanted to play what I was playing lol yep just like a sister. I didn't realize any of that until these past few days, thinking about her. She was there all through my high school years and you know those are some fun years especially with Mindy around. There was never a dull moment she would come up with random things to do like dare everyone to swallow a raw egg, why? I don't know but I remember it and it was hilarious. She taught me every word to piano man one night lyric by lyric we listen tonight song a million times that night. I've never met anyone like her in my life she was not basic she was impulsive when she got an idea she had to do it right then and force you to go with on her crazy adventure. That's what makes her so memorable, I havent seen her in years yet I have so so many vivid memories. Going down the hippy slide naked, her dressing me for 70's day at school (because she had the perfect clothes for that) dancing in her and Juan's apartment just the two of us having a blast. She was always a blast and one damn good euchre player one time she was wooping Juan and I and she told him while he was dealing no matter what he flip she telling him to pick it up (mind you her partner never played before!) Juan told her play right or I'm not playing. He flipped the card she called it and won!!
She had great taste in music she listen to everything from Arlo Guthery (who we seen in concert) to Montel Williams lol. She was a free spirit, almost like a child she would get so excited about new things and her excitement was contagious. My high school years would have been so lame without her. We went to Puerto Rico together, seen David Copperfield, went to hemp aid, I could go on and on.
My condolences to Gene in Deb I can't imagine your pain no parent should have to say goodbye to their child and this is your second time. Also to Tyler you were robbed of seeing the most beautiful bride. I was in her first wedding and the love was not their like it was with you. I'm so sorry for your guys loss
