Wallace “Roy” Corwin Jr., 64, of Buchanan, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, with his devoted wife by his side.

Roy was born on April 18, 1955, to Wallace L and Oda J. (Buckner) Corwin in Niles, MI.  After graduating from high school, Roy joined the United States Navy and proudly served his county.   Roy was a hard worker; he was known to have built some amazingly beautiful staircases. He was a kind, thoughtful, and very helpful person.  Roy loved his family, he made sure they were taken care of and well provided for. His sons were his pride and joy; but his wife Patricia “Tricia” (Blaylock) Corwin was his life, they were married on March 1, 1985, at a ceremony in Niles, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Corwin Sr.; step-mother, LaVerne Corwin; and his mother, Oda Buckner.

Roy is survived by his wife Tricia of Buchanan, sons, Jonathan (Kalyn) Corwin of Georgia; Brian Blaylock of Arizona; and his brother Arthur (Penny) Corwin of South Carolina.

He will be laid to rest next to his parents in a private ceremony at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan.

Memorial contributions may be made Roy’s memory to Caring Circle Hospice.
