Brendon Lee Jarman, 14, of South Bend, passed away at Riley Children’s Hospital, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from complications related to an undiagnosed heart condition.

Brendon along with his twin brother was born seven weeks early on a cold rainy Friday evening, on November 5, 2004, to Tomi Horner.  He was a student at Washington High School, where he enjoyed playing football. He was also on the wrestling team. He believed that no matter what you did, you gave it your all; he was “all in”. He loved life, and it showed by his great big, contagious smile.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth C. Horner Sr.

Brendon is survived by his parents, Tomi and Shane Horner of South Bend; siblings, Lucus Horner, Chandler Plew, Brittany Jarman,  Braedon  Jarman, Blayne Jarman, and Madison Horner; grandparents, Tom “papa” and Ellen Vaughn; uncles, Joe (Ashli) Vaughn and Don (Hailey Jarman) Brittin; aunts, Erica (Jason) Beerwart and Alicia Vandygriff; along with several more aunts, cousins, and dear friends.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home in Niles.

Memorial contributions to help offset expenses can be made to an account set up at Old National Bank in care of Tom or Ellen Vaughn, or to Brown Funeral Home.
