I offer my love and heartfelt condolences to Arlene’s family. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Paul for some time and met all of her children and several of her grandchildren in the past few years, and I hold you all in high esteem. You are such a beautiful family.
I feel very fortunate to have known Arlene. When we first met in the early 2000s, it seemed we ran into each other everywhere we went. I’m sure it was because we shared interests, but it got to feeling uncanny, as if we were meant to be friends. And so we were. Among other things, we went to church, enjoyed Toastmasters and our writing group, and participated in a small, weekly spiritual discussion group together. In the last few years that they wintered in Sierra Vista, my family and I also had the pleasure of having Paul and Arlene over to share Thanksgiving dinners.
So many wonderful memories.
She taught me so much, touching my life in immeasurable ways, and I am a better person for knowing her. I already miss her very much. I will keep her close in my heart for the rest of my life, and I am so grateful to have had the time with her that I did.
Be at peace, my dear, special friend. I love you.

My very deepest condolences to all the family. I had the privilege of knowing Arlene when she lived in Sierra Vista, AZ. I first met her when she attended archaeology meetings for the local chapter of the Arizona Archaeological Society. She joined a spiritual discussion group with me and other friends, and we always had a wonderful time together. Our dogs sometimes played together, too. Arlene, I can say without a doubt, was one of the kindest people I've ever known. I've been truly blessed by having her in my life.
I know I will miss her, but I also know she is always with me in my heart.
My love to Paul and to the entire family.
