Obituary of Christina Ann Allen

Christina Ann (Haynes) Allen, 32, of Niles, passed away on March 15, 2019,  at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Christina was born on October 9, 1986, in South Bend, Indiana. She graduated from Brandywine High School in 2006, she went on to obtain her Associates Degree from South Western Michigan College. Christina married her soul-mate Shane L. Allen on February 14, 2007. She was currently working at AACOA in Niles. She loved being outside, communing with nature, kayaking, or walking the trails at Fernwood Botanical Garden. Christina enjoyed the Arts and reading everything she could get her hands on. She loved her family; her beautiful daughters were her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her father; Jimmy D. Haynes.

Christina is survived by her husband, Shane L. Allen of Niles; daughters, Arianna Jade and Mollie McKenzie of Niles; mothers, Beverly A. Haynes and Sherry (Eric) Ericson; two sisters, Tiffany Holycross and Kathy Haynes; mother-in-law, Dawn Brook; father-in-law, Randy Allen; grandparents-in-law, James and Laura Lewellen; sister-in-law Carleigh Brook; brother-in-law, Garrett Allen; and her sweet nieces, Calita and Brooke; and her beloved dog Killer B.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Portage Road General Baptist Church, 1765 Portage Road, Niles. A time of visitation will begin at 1:00 pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Fernwood Botanical Garden, 13988 Range Line Road, Niles, MI 49120.
