Obituary of Marilyn Joyce Frazier

Marilyn “Joyce” Frazier, 82, of Syracuse, Indiana formerly of Niles, passed away at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, Indiana on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

Joyce was born on October 23, 1936, to the late Erie and Louise (Marshall) Hemminger in Dowagiac, Michigan.

On July 3, 1955 Joyce married Allen Frazier at the Bertrand Bible Church in Niles.  She worked for many years at SPI on Stateline Rd in Niles.  Joyce enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and planting flowers. She loved spending time with her children and grand-children.  She will be missed by her fur babies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allen Frazier; and her fifteen siblings.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Michael Frazier of Syracuse and Rex (Maria) of Niles; seven grandchildren and three great-grand-daughters.

Memorial contributions in her memory should be directed to the Niles/Buchanan Relay for Life.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home in Niles, Michigan. A time of visitation will begin one hour prior. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Silverbrook Cemetery.
