Obituary of Ronald Devon Moore

Ronald D. Moore, 62, of Niles, passed away at his home in Niles on Monday, March 4, 2019.

Ronald was born on November 25, 1956, in Niles to the late Mearl D. and Ellen L.  (Frantz) Moore Jr.

He graduated from Niles High School. Ronald had a big heart; he was always helping other people. He took great pride in selling poppies for the VFW.  He enjoyed playing bingo, shooting darts and playing pool. He loved to dance and listen to country music. He was a volunteer member of the VFW, and a member of “Rolling Thunder”.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Mearl; mom and stepdad, Ellen and Gerald Percy; and his ex-wife Linda Krassow.

Ronald is survived by sister, Brenda (Terry Vogelsang) Adkins of Buchanan; step-siblings, Johnnie Moore of Dowagiac; Michael Moore of Dowagiac; Kristin Moore of Dowagiac; and Sidney Renee Percy of Iowa; close friends Cliff (Marcelle) Nelson of Niles and his girlfriend, Wendi Sullivan of Niles.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 18, 2019, at Brown Funeral Home in Niles. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Cemetery.
