Dear Family
Derek will be truly missed. He was a handsome and very personable man. I am thankful that he was a part of my extended family. I will forever cherish the memories of laughter and joy with Derek. Every time I go out to my back yard to care for my duck and chicken, I vividly remember the day we put up the chicken enclosure and how good he was at finding a way to make the enclosure work the way I wanted. He is already greatly missed and could never be replaced. As I often told DK, as we often called him, he was like a son. Losing Derek is very hard, yet I am thankful for knowing him the past twenty years.
