Blanch Case, 97, of Niles, passed away on January 2, 2013 at Riveridge Manor in Niles. Blanch was born on November 8, 1915 to the late John and Agnes (Kolacia) Kusack in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Colon High School in the early 1930's and worked as a seamstress at a local sweater factory. In the spring of 1935 she wed David James Case and together they had three children. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son David "John" Case, brother Henry Kusack and one grandson. Blanch is survived by her daughters Phyllis (Ronald) Hammer of Ft. White, Florida, Janis Price of Niles, Michigan, daughter-in-law Sally Case of Colon, Michigan, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. In keeping with Blanch's wishes she has been cremated and her family will be holding a private burial later in the summer in Colon, Michigan
