Obituary of Robin Kay Doonan

Robin Doonan, 60, of Buchanan, passed away at her home on Friday, September 14, 2018, surrounded by loved ones.

Robin was born on May 29, 1958, to the late Norma (Gouldman) Jarman in Chicago, Illinois. Robin’s life was full of love and lots of laughter. She loved spending time with all 9 of her grandbabies. She loved to spend time with her children, along with her friends and family. Some of her hobbies were: adoring her grandchildren, reading, doing crafts, and watching her tv shows. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone. Robin knew no strangers. She had sass and spark that she passed on to her grandbabies. Her smile and laughter will be truly missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma (Gouldman) Jarman; brother, Travis Jarman; sister, Terry Oxander; Daughter, Roxanne Doonan; Grandson, Logan (LoganBob) Jarman; nephew, Jimmy Jarman; cousin, (Big) Dolly Jarman, sister-in-law, Holly Jarman.

Robin is survived by her husband, John Doonan of Buchanan; children, Danielle (Eric Yazell) Viracola of Buchanan and Nathan and Sidney Jarman of Niles; grandchildren, Gavin, Nathan (Boobah), Zora “Aurora”, Vinnie, Tayvn, Willy, Zoey, Athena, and Ozzy; great-niece, Anna; great-nephews, Braden, Daniel, and many other nieces and nephews.

Robin’s family will be hosting a memorial service on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Portage Prairie United Methodist Church located at 2450 Orange Road in Niles, from 4pm-6pm for family and friends. The church will be providing dinner after the service.
