Obituary of Ronnie Allen Kelley

Ronnie A. Kelley, 66, of Niles, passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 9, 2018, of natural causes.

On April 6, 1952, Ronnie was born in Niles to the late John T. and Helen L. (Fox) Kelley.

Ronnie graduated from Buchanan High School. Ronnie served his country proudly for twelve years in the Navy and the U.S. Air Force. He attended CCAF College while in the Air Force where he studied Electronic Technology. Ronnie was a kind and giving man. He was a friend to everyone. Ronnie loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jim Kelley and a sister, Kathy Martin.

Ronnie is survived by his sons, Jeremy E. (Pamela) Kelley of Niles and Joshua T.(Autumn) Kelley of Wichita, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Ashley(Nick), Caitlin, Jillian, Maddison, Porter, Emma and Jax; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Chris Maggart) Kelley and Larry (Shirley) Kelley both of Buchanan; sister, Betty Krieger of Benton Harbor; sister-in-law, Judy Kelley of Kendallville, Indiana; brother-in-law, James Martin of Augusta, Arkansas; along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, his family will hold a private gathering at a later time. He will be laid to rest with his parents at Galien Cemetery.
