Jean A. Franks, 83, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at St Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.

She was born on June 13, 1935, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Joseph and Sarah Bonjorno.

On August 20, 1955, Jean married Robert Franks at Holy Cross Parish in South Bend.

Jean is survived by her husband, Robert Franks of Niles; children, David Franks and Gina (Edward) Pilarski of Niles; Jana (Billie) Seastrom of Edwardsburg; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Krystal, Madison, Raelee, Jaelyn, Robert, Janel, and Joshua; special friend, Stacey Manning.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jean’s memory to St. Mark’s Parish in Niles.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and no public services are being planned.
