Obituary of Beverly Lower

Beverly Ann Lower, 74, of Charlotte passed away at her home with her loving family beside her on August 30, 2018.

On September 17, 1943 in Battle Creek, Dale and Lucy Jane (Goff) Lower welcomed their daughter, Beverly.

She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and later moved to Manistee where she ran her own painting business for many years. She was always opening her home to friends and family.  She enjoyed singing and playing the accordion, and when gathered with family, it was inevitable that music would fill the air.  It was a rare occasion that you would see Bev without a smile on her face.  

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Glen and Dick Lower.  

She is survived by her sisters, Martha (Walter) Force of Battle Creek, Juanita (Bruce) Jones of Charlotte and Gale Fox of Kalamazoo; her brothers, Nathan (Karen) Lower of Mishawaka, and Jerry (Donna) Markle of Missouri.  Bev will also be missed by a host of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Bev’s wishes there will be no funeral services and the family will host an open house visitation on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at New Hope Apostolic Church, 6900 E Drive North, Battle Creek, Michigan.
