Obituary of Deborah Lucille Mansfield

 Deborah Mansfield, 66, Union City, passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident on Friday, August 10, 2018.

On July 1, 1952, Deborah was born to the late Robert “Bob” and Delores Porazinski in Chicago, Illinois.

Deborah married Richard L. Mansfield at a ceremony in Ludington, Michigan.

Deborah worked at Meijer in Battle Creek. She was a member of Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Coldwater, Michigan. She was very dedicated to her Lord and Savior, having a true servant’s heart and a love for people.  She will be remembered as a true Christian and enjoyed sharing her faith with everyone she met.

Preceding Deborah are her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Mansfield of Union City; a brother, Rob Porazinski of Chicago, brothers-in-law, Thomas (Beatrice) Striffler of Battle Creek, Walter Mansfield of Albion; sister-in-law, Rebecca (Shawn) Rickey of Apple Valley, CA; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of others whose hearts she had touched.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Potter’s House Church, 226 Capital Ave, NE, in Battle Creek. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the church with her pastor, Jeffery Waid officiating. A private interment will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Battle Creek Memorial Park.
