Obituary of Dolores Lillian Vander Klok

Dee Vander Klok of Niles, entered the house of her Lord on July 26, 2018 while residing at Woodland Terrance in Niles. 

She was born to Harold and Genevieve (Carlson) in Lewiston MI on May 17, 1929. 

Dee was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Carton, Robert, and Howard; sister, Jenny; and her son, Jay. 

Dee was the most wonderful mother to her five children, Cole (Lori) of Oldsmar Florida, Mark (Deb) of South Bend Indiana, Jay (Norma) of Lansing Michigan, Cathy (Bruce) Griffee of Niles, Michigan and Mike (Angela) of La Jolla, California; grandchildren, Bridget, Ross (Caitlin), Amanda, Kelly (Jackie), and Kristin Vander Klok and Maaike VanDorssen; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Briella and Brody; brother, Dave Tripp of Salt Lake City, Utah; and brother-in-law, Don Van Kersen of Kalamazoo, Michigan.   

Her beautiful soul will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  The family would like to thank Hospice at Home, the staff of Woodland Terrace and a special thank you to her nurse, Kacy Toney. 

Cremation has taken place and the family will gather privately to celebrate her wonderful life.
