Obituary of Donald Edward Klute

Donald E. Klute, 78, of Niles, passed away at his residence on Monday, July 23, 2018.

He was born in Niles on January 10, 1940 to the late Paul F. and Dorothy L. (Williams) Klute.

Donald graduated from Niles High School, class of 1959. He worked as an animal trainer for most of his career, including the famous Flipper the Dolphin. After retirement, he worked as a race track teller. Donald loved animals and will be missed by his Jack Russell, Buster.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Virginia Armour.

Donald is survived by a daughter, Kelley (Christopher) Brown of Texas; three grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica and Joshua; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (Robert) Bauer of Niles and Sue Ann Hennen of Spring, Texas; a brother, Fredrick (Josie) Klute of Lexington, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, no public services will be held.
