My mom told me of this sad news and my thots/prayers are being sent across the unsalted pond to you. She was really a great role model and a classy lady. I remember the crushed ice/grape juice treat she'd make when we were kids. I loved it! And the story of when your folks were courting and the air raid sirens went off. Your mom was determined to stay in the theater b/c they had paid for the show! As a kid that really made an impression on me. 'Keep Calm and Carry On'-I think of her when I hear that.
