Obituary of Joseph Skibinski

Joseph Skibinski, 90, of Niles, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018.

He was born on March 14, 1928 in Poland to the late Walter and Victoria Skibinski.

Joseph wed the love of his life, Maria Przanowska, on July 1, 1949 in Germany. In 1950 the couple moved to Niles and made that their home. Joseph owned and operated, along with his son, J & J Drywall until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Skibinski of Niles; son, Joe W. Skibinski of Niles; a daughter, Mary Ann Smith of Kalamazoo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Niles. A time of visitation will be held on Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Niles from 9:30am until 10:30am. An interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Joseph’s memory to St. Mary Catholic Church.
