Patricia Ann Hurd, 76, of Niles, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, March 26, 2018, where she was cared for by her daughters.

 

She was born on August 30, 1941, in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Ross and Eugenia (Portolese) Trimboli. Both were from the great nation of Italy.

 

On November 26, 1966, Patricia married Richard L. Hurd at St. Monica’s in Mishawaka, Indiana. She was a woman of devout belief.  She lived with cancer for almost half her life and showed great fortitude and magnanimity.  She found great pleasure in reading, antiquing, and her cats who never left her side.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Mary, Joseph, Rose, Jenny, and Rita.

 

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Tonya and Tricia; a son, Todd; daughter-in-law JoAnn; granddaughter, Faith; beloved cousin, Nancy; and two feline angels, Jasmine and Ginger. She was also blessed with many wonderful nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services were held on Friday, March 30, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Niles with a time of visitation at 9:30 a.m. An interment was held at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka, Indiana.
