Obituary of Rachel Francis

Rachel Francis, 86, of Niles, passed away at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph on Thursday, January 25, 2018.

She was born on February 25, 1931 in Little Current, Canada to the late Wellington and Eliza (Owl) Jacobs.

On December 3, 1949 Rachel married Henry John Francis at a ceremony in Canada. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2016.

Rachel worked for many years at the Niles Simplicity Pattern Plant. She will be remembered as a warm, loving lady who was always willing to help anyone.

In keeping with her wishes, no public services will be held and she will be entombed next to her husband at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in the Hope Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice or by simply showing an act of kindness to someone in need.
