Obituary of Evelyn R. Moneysmith

Evelyn went to meet her savior on December 19, 2017 at the age of 93 years, 6 months and 15 days.

Evvy as she liked to be called, was born in Niles. She was a lifelong resident of Niles. Evvy’s family will miss her dearly. She gave so much to them, and they will cherish their wonderful memories of her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Esther Morros Sr.; husband, William H. Moneysmith, with whom she shared fifty five years of marriage; great great-grandson, William M. Allen; two nieces, Valorie and Millicent Morros; grandson-in-law, David Witham.

Evvy is survived by her daughter, Loretta L. Mattocks; grandchildren, Rhonda Witham, Laurie (James) Farrris, Pamela (Michael) Malisa; great grandchildren, Jessica, Heather (John), Nathan (Amanda), Zachary, Kimberly (Kevin), Megan and Stephanie; great great-granchildren,  Patrick, Sean, Aidan, Jordyn, Sheridan, Alicen, Betheny, Kayden, Regyen and one on the way.

A brother, Mervin Morros Jr.; niece, Shelby Engleberg; nephew, Vance Morros.

Step-daughter, Lucy (John)  Jann.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. She will be laid to rest in the spring next to her husband at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
