Well, I had to gather my thoughts after watching the wonderful video of pictures of such a spunky faboulish person, full of life as she had a great one!! Not sure I can come up with words to say how much she ment to me as neighbor (Mom) Pretty sure Dave and I could share lots of stupid crazy stories, however, she knows in her spirit how much she was loved by many and oh how we loved her history stories too!! A few years ago when I came home my Brother Mike who takes Lester to see Kathryn. I asked to go with them on one of his visits. I will am so grateful I did, even though she looked right through me, to hold her hand and give her a kiss made me feel at peace as well!! So with that said, LESTER...I LOVE LOVE YOU!!!! I know life will continue, you have family and of course great neighbors too!! HUGS HUGS.... Deana

Victor and I are saddened to hear of Kathryn's passing. We thought of her as one of our aunts, and we have very precious memories of her. Her "sister" and our mother, Vera, passed away last March. She had been saying that she so badly wanted to visit Kathryn, but unfortunately she died before she was able to see her one more time. We extend our sincere condolences to Lester, Valerie, Vickey, David, and their families. Kathryn was indeed a very special person.

My sympathy and condolences to you Lester, Vickie and rest of Kathryn's family. I met her due to my mother, Louise, being at Buchanan Meadows also. I enjoyed Kathryn and her wonderful accent which was a mixture of those languages that she had learned in her life. I considered it an honor to have known her with such a history behind her. The Lord indeed had a purpose for her to have kept her safe for you Lester! Thank you for the conversations while we were with our loved ones there at Meadows. It also was so good to meet you Vickie and your family when you were there. May all of you in Kathryn's family know how much she was loved and appreciated by those who knew her. John 3:16
