I was a friend of Verna's from high school at Grace Christian. Verna was one of the sweetest girls at school. I always enjoyed visiting with her and her wonderful mother. We will be keeping your family in our prayers.

Verna unfortunately made many visits to the hospital over the last several years. While this was not good for her, we as staff were always happy to see her again. Everyone knew Verna there and were delighted to have her for a patient. The word would get out if she was in the hospital and I know if she was in my department , staff from other floors would stop me frequently to ask how she was doing. Verna will be greatly missed by myself, and countless others at Lakeland,, God bless you Verna.
