Obituary of Mildred Ann Irwin

Mildred "Millie" Ann Irwin, 78, of Baroda, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph on Monday, January 20, 2014, surrounded by her family. Millie was born on September 13, 1935 to the late George and Venora Waggle in Searcy, Arkansas. Millie wed the love of her life, Richard "Leroy" Irwin at a ceremony in Coloma on October 10, 1975. Millie was a devoted member of Full Gospel Assembly in Berrien Springs. She enjoyed helping those in need and was always doing for others, especially if it involved cooking a meal for her family or anyone in need. Millie spent much of her free time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed their company. She is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, two brothers, a sister and a stepson. Millie is survived by her husband Leroy Irwin of Baroda, daughters; Faye (Jeff) Kidwell of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Patricia Spraggins of Jacksonville, Florida, Judy (David) Crooner of Jacksonville, a son Bill (Cammi) Irwin of Stevensville, Michigan; three stepchildren; Pamela (David) Root of Berrien Springs, Rory (Shelly) Irwin of Pennsylvania and Peggy (Robert) Crompton of Buchanan, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and one sister Brenda (Johnny) Chadwick of Tennessee.
