Obituary of Dorothy Hart

Dorothy Hart, 89, of Niles passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Buchanan Meadows surrounded by her family. She was born to the late John and Eula (Brown) Gilbert on October 4, 1924 in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas. She married Elder Daniel Hart on January 11, 1943 in Russellville, Arkansas. Dorothy was a homemaker most of her lifetime and enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and also was talented at sand art. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and all of her brothers and sisters. . She is survived by her son, Danny Hart of Berrien Center, and her two daughters, M. Luon Bernth of Niles and Carolyn (Bruce) Holmes of Niles. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Dorothy's memory may do so to a charity of one's choice. Services for Dorothy will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Lonnie Rhodes officiating. A time of visitation will begin one hour prior. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
