Gordon Oeming, 66, of Niles, passed away at Silverbrook Manor in Niles on Monday, February 17, 2014.
Gordon was born on December 23, 1946 to the late Leon and Beatrice (Riley) Oeming in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
In 1965 Gordon joined the United States Airforce where he became a pilot. In early 1970 he then joined the United States Army and then later the United States Army Reserves where he was called up to active duty several times over the years.
In keeping with Gordon's wishes he will be cremated and inurned at Arlington National Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by one daughter Christina Oeming of Stafford, Virginia.
