Obituary of Connie Luther

Connie Summerfelt Luther, 71, of Stevensville, MI, died peacefully on March 4th, 2014 after a long illness. Connie was born March 31st, 1942 in Bloomington, Illinois.
Connie attended Benton Harbor High School and graduated in 1960. She was a member of the Lakeshore Jaycee's in the 60's and 70's. Some of her favorite jobs included working as a Secretary in the Nurse's Office for the Benton Harbor School system and being a Manager at McDonald's. She is survived by her husband, Fred Luther, son, David Luther, daughters, Judy Luther Tremolada and Lori Luther, three grandchildren: Cameron & Camille Luther and Tova Tremolada; as well as her siblings: Jeanne Summerfelt Dupre and Fred, Ted & Bill Summerfelt. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Ella Summerfelt and her sister Nona Rauh. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at her residence, 6022 James Drive in Stevensville, Michigan on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
