You are a hero in my life, Uncle Gerald. I learned so much from you, especially working hard and always giving it your very best. The last time I was in Michigan I loved visiting with both you and Aunt Francis. I remember listening to your interesting stories, walking outside and seeing your beautiful garden and all the work you have done, everything so organized and as always laughing at your sense of humor that always cracked me up. You taught us all well and now you leave behind a legacy that we all want to live up to by being the best we can be at whatever we are doing. I love you, Uncle Gerald, you will always be in my heart. Aunt Francis, you are in my prayers each and every day, love you.

Thank you dad for teaching me your love of nature and wildlife, hunting and fishing. You taught me every bird, animal, tree, rock and flower. It's hard to part with someone that's been around ever since I was born! Even though we were far apart in distance, you are Mom's brother & our Uncle & we love you! Uncle Gerald to me was such a tough guy, you didn't want to mess with him! LOL And a guy that had talent & pride in everything he did. Fun to be around-Joe & my wedding, you & Aunt Francis danced up a storm then came back to Mom & Dad's after the reception for some more fun!! We will miss you but someday we'll see you up in the heavens! Love to all of my cousin's & Aunt Francis.

I met Jerry and Franny at the Old Hat in Lawton and found in them two of the most beautiful people in the world. They loved to hear my husband's band play. If I wasn't sneaking cigs with Fran, I was dancing my butt off with Jerry. Thank you for the last dance, Jerry, at your 90th bday party. I know how your heart is aching tonight, Fran.
