Norman F. Heino, 80, of Niles, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Lakeland Continuing Care in Berrien Center, following a brief illness.
He was born in Flint, Michigan to the late Arnold T. and Evelyn (Goodknight) Heino.
After graduating high school, Norman received a scholarship and graduated from Michigan State University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Norman moved to Niles in the 1970's and began working for Electro-Voice as an accountant and worked there for over 20 years. In his spare-time Norman enjoyed reading, especially mysteries, and watching television.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sue Heino.
Norman is survived by two sons David (Tamera) Heino of Marcellus and Karl (Nicole) Heino of Minneapolis, Minnesota, a daughter Merry (Pat) Hitchcock of Holt, Michigan, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister Nancy (Wayne) Fields of Roscommon, Michigan.
In keeping with Norman's wishes, private services will be held by the family at a later date.
