Obituary of Linda J. Force

Linda J. Force, 70, of Battle Creek passed away surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born on February 27, 1944 to the late John and Meredith (Duff) Force in Battle Creek, Michigan. After graduating from Battle Creek Central High School in 1962 and almost immediately starting her life as a nurse, Linda later attended KVCC, where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse. Those who knew Linda understood that her family was her pride and joy; nothing made her light up more than to see the face of one of her family members walk through the door. Linda also enjoyed crocheting, was an avid reader, and loved her animals dearly. She had many talents in the kitchen; she enjoyed canning, and was also known for her mouth-watering cooking and delicious baked goods. She loved nothing more than feeding her family and helping others. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and four of her brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Medea Rosborough-Drzick, Cynthia Bugg-Santora, and her son Richard Force, all of Battle Creek. Linda is also survived by several brothers and sisters and will be missed greatly by her ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Linda will be Monday, March 10, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at New Hope Apostolic Church 13416 W. Michigan Ave, Marhsall, MI 49069 with a time of visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A private interment will be held on Tuesday for Linda at Reese cemetery.
