Obituary of Clara R. Gast

Clara Ruth Gast, 89, of Niles and previously of Sawyer, passed away at Westwoods of Niles on March 10, 2014.
Clara was born on July 6, 1929 to the late Reinholdt and Marie (Klipchen) Hauch in St. Joseph, Michigan. After school she worked at Woolin Products in Benton Harbor until an injury forced her to retire early.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and reading.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Martha, and brothers; Herman, Art, Ernie, Albert and Johnny Hauch and one granddaughter Milisa Gast-Carlson.
Clara is survived by her children Charlene Gast of Stevensville, Michigan and Mark (Cathy) Gast of Niles, granddaughter April Gast of Trenton, Ohio and great grandson Cory Gast of Niles and a brother Eric Reske of Pendleton, Indiana.
Clara's family will be scheduling a service later on this year.
