Obituary of Lydia E. Estrada

Please share a memory of Lydia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lydia E. Estrada, 90, of Holland passed away at Heartland of Holland on March 27, 2014. She was born to the late Anthony and Aurrilia (Almadoza) Martino in San Juan, Puerto Rico on May 10, 1923. Growing up Lydia felt great pride in her Hispanic heritage; she loved listening to any type of Spanish music and could be found doing the Salsa as long as her body would permit her to do so. Lydia, however, was most passionate about her family and time that she could spend with them. Her greatest memories were those that involved being surrounded by her loved ones. She is preceded by her parents and her son Angelo Rivera. Lydia is survived by her daughter, Marian Ryder of Holland, Michigan, son John River of Saint Joseph and son Richard Martino of Florida, fifteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of siblings and nieces and nephews. Those wishing to make memorial donations in memory of Lydia may do so to Heartland of Holland - Activities Fund, 493 West 32nd Street; Holland, MI 49423. Services for Lydia will be Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 521 East Main Street, Niles, MI 49120 with visitation one hour prior.
