Obituary of Loretta A. Webster

Loretta A. Webster, 86, of Dowagiac, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Silverbrook Manor in Niles, of natural causes. She was born on June 24, 1927 in Georgetown, Michigan to the late Edward and Lillie (Wilson) Combs. On September 21, 1945 Loretta married Fred W. Webster at a ceremony in Dowagiac. Loretta retired from Sunstrand Industries where she worked for over thirty years. She enjoyed playing cards and games, needlepoint and reading her bible. Loretta also found great joy in spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Loretta is survived by her children; Barb Kaphaen, Elaine Carpenter, Fred Webster Jr., Sherry (Ralph) Rugal and Debbie (Robert) Wallace, nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel with a time of visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m.
