Obituary of James Krassow

James Krassow, 62, of Niles, passed away on April 1, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, following an illness. He was born on November 1, 1951 in Niles to the late Albert and M. Louise (York) Krassow. James attended Niles High School and involved in the Future Farmers of America. He worked for many years at the Green Giant Company in Niles and was a self-employed auto-mechanic. He was a member of Michiana Cruisers and enjoyed his time spent with friends working on cars and traveling to car shows. James is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda Diann (Mullen) Krassow, and sisters Marilyn Clark and Renee Krassow. He is survived by two children Kelli (Robert) Flohr of Niles and James Krassow of Niles, two brothers Thomas (Christine) Krassow of Buchanan and Scott (Crystal) Krassow of Niles, a sister Julane Linley of Niles, and a grandson Christopher Flohr. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with a time of visitation beginning one hour prior. Memorial contributions may be made in James' memory to his family to assist with final expenses.
