Obituary of Jeannette Navarro

Jeannette Marie Navarro, 70, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away at her home in Niles on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Jeannette was born on July 22, 1943 to Moses and Juana (Salsedo) Robello in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from high school Jeannette wed the love of her life, Pedro Navarro on July 31, 1967 in Honolulu. She worked as a shuttle driver for Wiki Wiki Shuttle and enjoyed her job. Jeannette retired in 2000 and a few years later she and Pedro moved to Michigan but went back for frequent visits. Jeannette enjoyed gardening and will be remembered fondly for her excellent cooking skills. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Petra Navarro and siblings David Robello, and Julia Flores. Jeannette is survived by her children Elaine (Tovia) Auala of Oahu, Hawaii, LeeAnn (Robert) Epstein of Hilo, Hawaii, Sandra (Ricky) Ruiz of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Zelda Navarro of Pasadena, California, Donna Abiley of Ewa Beach, Yolanda (Kenneth) Patterson of Niles, Michigan, Pedro (Stacy) Navarro III of Des Moines, Iowa and Wesley Ty Navarro of Niles, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and siblings Moses Robello of Honolulu, Hawaii, Margaret Ponce of Honolulu and Frances (Clarence) Jardine of Honolulu. Services to honor Jeannette will be held by her family in Hawaii.
