Obituary of Diana Gordon

Diana Gordon, 53, of Altoona, Florida and previously of Pokagon, Michigan, passed away at Florida Hospital Deland on Sunday, September 17, 2017.
Diana was born on July 24, 1964, to Eldon and Peggy (Wright) Gordon in Niles. After graduating from Niles High School Diana went on to attend Southwestern Michigan College. After meeting her fiancée, David Harville, Diana moved to Florida. Diana was a very relaxed person who valued her family time, especially when it came to her only grandchild, Mckenzie Grace. She also enjoyed watching Jeff Gordon race. She was very proud of her Cherokee Indian heritage and enjoyed collecting Native American items.
Diana was preceded in death by her father, Eldon Gordon and her brother Scot Gordon.
She is survived by her mother, Peggy Gordon of Pokagon; sons, Joel (Jamie) Ealy and Jason Ealy, both of Mishawaka; granddaughter, Mckenzie; sisters, Janice Henry of Niles, and Kathleen (Raymond) Ornatowski of Edwardsburg; and nieces and nephews, Josh Henry, Justin Henry, Codey Miller, Andrea Henry, and Scot Miller; and great-niece Braelyn Benjamin.
A memorial service to celebrate Diana's life will be held at the Old Rugged Cross Church in Pokagon on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Diana's memory to her family in care of Brown Funeral Home at 521 East Main Street, Niles or by telephone.
