Obituary of Elnora Nora McClelland

Elnora "Nora" McKean McClelland, 73, of Niles, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2013 with her family by her side. Nora was born on October 2, 1939 to the late John and Florence (Ward) McKean. After graduating from Beaver High School in Beaver, Pennsylvania Nora went on to attend Robert Morris Business School where she graduated with an associate's degree in business. She worked as an executive assistant in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania for many years and went on to become an admittance secretary at the local hospital in Beaver until she retired due to her Multiple Sclerosis. On June 23, 2001 Nora wed David McClelland on the riverbank in Niles. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Florence and her son James Frank. Nora is survived by her husband David, brother Bill (Carol) McKean of Dade City, Florida, children John (Jackie) Frank of Baden, Pennsylvania, Jerry (Denise) Frank of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania and Joanne (Roy) McIntyre of Industry, Pennsylvania, eight grandchildren Karyn McIntyre of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Katrina and Michael McIntyre of Industry, Michael Frank of Baden, Jessica and Tyler Frank of White, Georgia, Jocelyn Mullinnix of Ocala, Florida and Jason Snyder of Monaca, Pennsylvania and two great grandchildren Kennedy and Liam Mullinnix of Ocala. In keeping with Nora's wishes she has been cremated and her family will be holding a private interment in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The family has asked that since there are no local services donations be made in Nora's memory to the National MS Society, Michigan Chapter at 21311 Civic Center Drive; Soutfield, MI 48076. The family would like to thank the girls of Kelly Home Care for their diligent care of Nora.
