Kay was a caring, upbeat person who looked past her own health limitations and cared about others. Her glass was never half empty.

I also went to Vicksburg High School with Kay. Our friendship grew a lot on FB. We both had lung problems, so we would encourage each other and share any tips that we knew for better breathing. She was a sweet, loving, and caring person and we will all miss her morning update. Her daily sharing was part of my morning routine. It was so clear how much she adored her family.

My husband and I are very sorry for your loss. I was a classmate and my husband knew her from she she was a little girl that visited his parents when her parents came to his house for card playing night. I am so sorry for your loss. I knew her from school but she was older and never really knew her until she moved to Prairie Street. We became like a Prairie Street family raising our kids. She was a fun and loving Mother who loved you very much Jason. Remember all the happy times, how caring she was and her laugh. She won't be forgotten. Cid

I met Kay at weekly Catechism as children and liked her immediately. She had this happy go lucky personality that was just hard to resist. I would be the first to admit that she was a better friend than I, and I now love her for it. I genuinely express that I will miss her morning FB posts as much as or more than anybody. It is with the deepest sadness that I express my sorrow and sympathy to her family. She surely will be missed....Vinney
