Uncle Doug was awesome when I was younger, trying to teach me how to carry firewood, and showing me how to care for horses. Riding mini-bikes, snowmobiles, and dirt bikes. I had so much fun. I miss him so much right now, but he is resting peacefully now. I'll see you after.

Doug is my nephew. Although I haven't seen him in years I remember the "farm". Some of the best memories I have is playing cowboys with Doug, Bill and Joe. I remember Doug and Bill always fighting and then we were all playing again. I am so sorry he is lost at such a young age. Pat, Kim and the rest of the family, I am so sorry for the loss. I hope we are able to get the reunion together and I will be able to make it. Love to all his friends and family.

In loving memory of Douglas Allen Burdick, Also as Popeye the sailor man toot, toot. When I used to stay with Aunt Patsy, when Doug was about 2 and a half. When I walked into the house he would always get his jacket go to the door to go for a walk. We went down it seemed like 100 steps he would take one finger and away we would go walking, stopping whenever he would see a bug or something interesting. Than I said, the magic word, Whats your name..I'am popeye the sailor man toot toot. I heard abut popeye the sailor man for the rest of the walk, up the stairs. I love that sweet little guy.
