I first met Ken and Dorthy in the mid 90s at the FOT in northern Indiana not long after I had left WCG. From the very first they treated me as if I was one of the "family" and over the years I have come to feel and believe that I truly am one of the "family." I've had a difficult time growing up mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Ken and Dorthy and the little flock they served so lovingly have all helped me to overcome and learn what true joy is.
When I'd call them on the phone, we would often engage in discussions about Biblical things, spiritual issues, and I loved to listen to Ken "preach" (as Dorthy called it) because he always pointed me back to scripture, back to Father and Christ, Their love and Their glorious plan for mankind. Everything he did encouraged and uplifted others to trust God. The fruits of the holy spirit simply oozed out of Ken. You could see it in his face, his countenance; you could feel it in his touch and his gentle gaze which was always accompanied by a smile. We, as little children, have lost a "father in the faith." I plan to keep my memories of Ken in the forefront of my mind to help me strive to emulate his thoughtful and loving dedication to God and "family."

No finer man ever walked this earth than Ken Farmer. Such a gentle, caring, honest man who did so much for others. Always a joy to visit with him. He and LaVoy were such good buddies and both so talented in similar ways. My best wishes to you, Dorothy, Mark and all the family who have lost a wonderful husband and father and brother. We all have great memories of such a special person. Love to you all, Colleen Poehlman and family

We have known Ken for many years.
He loved to listen to my husband Earl's music.
Ken called last week & still wanted to come to our house to hear the music.
Before Earl talked to him I had answered the phone & Ken told me he could hardly breathe & I could tell he could hardly breathe.
When our children were little we had gone to their house & the kids lived the pony & the other animals.
Very out going friendly people.
We will miss Ken & so sorry but we know he isn't hurting anymore.
